Clash of Clans is getting versatile and more advanced. COC Bases TH (3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11) designs and Map layouts are changing constantly. New updates, troops and Builder Base buildings are added with new features and increased functionalities. So, in order to be on top of these changes and modifications, we need to be aware and flexible. We also need to make sure that we change our base layout with the progression in the game.
COC Bases Town Hall TH (3,4,5,6,,7,8,9,10,11) best design and Map Layout consist of COC Farming, Hybrid, Clan War and Trophy Bases. We are sharing the best design bases for all town hall levels. I will also share with you the design tips for a successful attack and defense strategy.

There is no perfect base and there is no COC base map and layout that can perform an ultimate defense and attack all the time. The best defense, trophy or hybrid base depends upon a players needs and troop levels. It all starts with the player and what he wants. It also depends upon the type of situation, battle and the town hall level he is currently in.
There are 4 different type of bases that are suitable for all conditions. These bases are highly flexible and can be changed to defense and attack.

What is a farming base COC?
Farming Bases are designed to protect against players who want to steal quick loot with cheap and faster armies. By learning to use and design farming base, you will be able to protect your base from Elixir, Dark Elixir and Gold Farming.
Farming Bases are designed around to protect DE storage at all cost. Clan Castle in combination with Air sweepers, Tesla, X-BOW are used to protect precious resources.
Distribute Resources in Balanced State
Gold Mines, Elixir Collector and Storage are evenly divided across the base, so that opponent troops have to spend more time searching for those resources. The resources are also protected with defensive units to attack the swarms and cheap army of goblins and barbarians.
For farming, the walls and boundaries are not very important as they are bigger and cover more area. As long as the compartments are 3-layered, we can effectively defend and protect most of our resources.
To use the farming compartments in optimum manner, follow these steps;
- The Center compartment contains, Clan Castle, Triangular Wizard towers, X-Bows coupled with Inferno Towers and Tesla’s.
- The outer compartment contains Archer Towers, Canons and Mortars.
Town Hall COC Base TH- 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 Trophy Base layout and Map Design-Best Defense and Attack
In the farming Base, our goal was to protect the resources, as Town Hall was not that important and was placed off-center. For Trophy pushing 5000+ maps and layout of Town Hall- 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11, the town hall is the most important building structure in the map and all resources and allocations should be denoted to protect it at all costs.
This is because, whenever an opponent attacks your base, his intention is to 3-star your base to gain maximum trophies. Our objective here is to prevent enemy attackers getting all those stars. We can do this by following these steps for the Town Hall Trophy base design;
Town Hall– The Clan castle and Town hall are placed in the middle of the COC Base Map. They are strongly guarded with the most potent defensive structures like Inferno tower, Air Bombs, Tesla’s and X-Bows. Air Sweepers, Barbarian King and Archer Queen Altar are also placed close to Town Hall for the added protection.
Compartments- Try to place multi layered walls, obstacles and compartments between the Town Hall and out layer. Fill up the compartment spaces with canons, Air defense and traps.
Town Hall COC Base TH- 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 Hybrid Base layout and Map Design-Anti Everything, Anti Giant and Dragons
Hybrid Base Layout for the TH- 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 are used to gain trophies, while protecting Dark Elixir. These bases are examples of symmetrical bases and have few weak points. Every corner, compartment, Wall and Building structure is placed strategically to Balance attack and Defense at the same time.
Here are some tips regarding Protecting resources and pushing Trophies;
Resources Protection- Elixir, Dark Elixir and Gold Storage mines should be placed close to town hall, but never place your resource buildings in one place. A fast enemy attack can quickly wipe and steal those concentrated resources. So, we can never perfectly defend resources and Trophies at the same time. However, Evenly distributing defensive building with resource ones, will result in less DE loss.
Wizard Towers- Wizard towers are fragile, but very effective when protected with a High HP building. Wizard towers are great against swarms of enemy farming troops like Barbarians, Archers and raged Goblins. So, try to cover your resources with wizard towers.
Town Hall COC Base TH- 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 Clan War Base layout and Map Design-Anti 3-star, Anti Hog, Lavaloon, Valk
The main Goal of the base is to prevent opponent army to 3-star you every time, especially when you are under leveled. Clan War Bases typically work on the same theme as the trophy base, but are designed aggressively to protect town hall at all cost.
So, in order to design an Anti 3-star and Anti- Everything Clash of Clans COC Base, follow the guided steps below;
Use Collectors as Defense Buildings- Collectors and Storage buildings of Elixir and Dark Elixir are High HP units. Us these buildings outside of your walls to distract the Hogs, Giants, Valks, Goblins, etc., Pair those Storage with Defense buildings in the back to prevent the enemy troops reaching the center.
It’s Ok to lose as long as the enemy doesn’t destroy all of your Base- In Clan Wars, our objective is to defend only certain parts of our base. Design your base in such a way that the enemy is lured to 2-star or 1-star your base maximum, every time. You can do this by placing your town hall outside, while protecting important buildings centrally.
